Long time ago (almost 7,000 years ago) on the territory of present UKRAINE lived proud and wise people that had a very unique and highly developed culture. This culture was discovered fairly recently. The first place was the vicinity of a small village called Trypillia (south of Kyiv). Vicenty Khvoiko, the archeologist who made the discovery, named this newly discovered and unknown to the world culture -- The Trypillian Civilization.
